Pricing

The list price displayed for products on our website may or may not represent the latest price listed on the product itself. With respect to items sold through the Site, we cannot confirm the price of an item until you have ordered. Despite our best efforts, a small number of the items in our catalog may be incorrectly priced. If an item’s actual price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, contact you for further instructions, before delivery or cancellation of your order and notify you of such cancellation.

Prices mentioned may change without prior notice

We request all customers to call and confirm the price/availability of the product before placing the order.

Unavailability of Product / Product Out of Stock

Inventory of all products advertised on gimmix.lk is not always in stock at the back-end. If the customer has ordered an out-of-stock product/s by paying via payment gateway or bank transfer, the customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for the unavailability of a product is the refund of the money paid.
When you place an order to purchase a product from us, you will receive an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation E-mail”). The Order Confirmation E-mail is the acknowledgement that we have received your order and has been passed for processing and does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the product(s) ordered. We only accept your offer, when we have confirmed the product is in stock and is ready to be delivered. Orders may be cancelled due to the product out of stock.

We strictly request all customers to call and confirm the price/availability of the product before placing the order.

Product Descriptions/Images/Specifications

gimmix.lk attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, gimmix.lk does not warrant that product description or other content of any product/ service is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product/ service offered by gimmix.lk is not as described, you may immediately contact our customer support by call us on our hotline, and gimmix.lk at its’ discretion shall provide you with a replacement/ alternative product for the same value or provide you with a refund.

Cancellation of Order

• Cancellation of an order will be done due to the non-availability of an item.
• Order cancellation may be done due to wrong product being advertised or wrong price being advertised.
• Orders placed without product confirmation will strictly be cancelled without any notice

Vouchers

Vouchers once bought are non-refundable, not exchangeable for cash and cannot be reused.

Payments

• We accept Cash on Delivery for Colombo 1-15 and selected suburbs.
• COD (Cash on Delivery; pay cash when product/s is/are delivered to you)
  All orders are subject to confirmation from gimmix.lk. A staff member will contact you to confirm the Order. You cannot cancel the order or refuse to pay when the product/s are delivered to you after your confirmation.
• We accept payments via Bank Transfer/Fund Transfer.
• We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard & American Express. Payment options are provided by Onepay (Spemai Pvt Ltd) Internet Payment Gateway.

Delivery of Products

Orders will be delivered through a third-party courier company. Products must be thoroughly inspected before accepting. If the product is damaged or any parts are missing, you must immediately inform the delivery person and not accept the product. If you accept, we consider that the product was in good condition and returns/ refund requests will not be accepted by gimmix.lk. Delivery time is generally 2 to 7 business days; however, times could vary depending on the courier partners. Further, gimmix.lk cannot be held liable for any delays by the courier companies.

• Please ensure to check your ordered product/s for any physical damages prior to accepting the delivery. Please do not accept delivery if there are any damages.
• gimmix.lk will not be liable for goods that are damaged in transit if the Proof of Delivery (POD) is signed and the goods are accepted.

Type of delivery options

• Standard Delivery: Delivery time is generally 1 to 7 business days
• Express Delivery: Delivery time is generally 24 to 48 hours
• Delivery of the items will be based on the availability of the item you have ordered and the delivery location.
• Delivery period provided in our site will neither form a condition nor a warranty on the delivery period.

Warranty

General terms and conditions are applicable for all warranty periods mentioned below

7 Days Checking Warranty

• The product is eligible for a period of 7 Days from the purchase/delivery date.
• Warranty includes only manufacturing defects
• Warranty does not include physical or liquid damage
• Warranty cannot be transferred to third party
• Product will be repaired or replaced depending on the defect
• Customer are requested to contact our customer service to claim the warranty.
• Warranty claim will take at least 21 working days

6 Months Warranty

• The product is eligible for a period of 6 Months from the purchase/delivery date.
• Warranty includes only for manufacturing defects
• Warranty does not include physical or liquid damage
• Warranty cannot be transferred to third party
• Product will be repaired or replaced depending on the defect
• Customer are requested to contact our customer service to claim the warranty.
• Warranty claim will take at least 21 working days. (May change due to force majeure delays.)

1 Year Warranty

• The product is eligible for a period on 1 Year from the purchase/delivery date.
• Warranty includes only for manufacturing defects
• Warranty does not include physical or liquid damage
• Warranty cannot be transferred to third party
• Customer are requested to contact our customer service to claim the warranty.
• Warranty claim will take at least 21 working days. (May change due to force majeure delays.)

Refunds & Exchanges

Refunds for change of mind will not be accepted.

Products/ services under daily deals/weekly deals are limited time and limited stock promotions that once ordered and paid are non-refundable. The voucher issues when you purchase the product/ service must be utilized (redeemed) during the validity period of the voucher. gimmix.lk is not liable for failure to redeem the voucher under any circumstances and cannot be refunded.

Refunds are only acceptable when the product is out of stock. All refunds are processed within 2-14 working days by gimmix.lk (processing times are shown in the table below). Further processing back to your credit card/ bank account may require additional time depending on the bank/ institution for which gimmix.lk cannot be held liable.

Refund on Delivery Charges

Please note that delivery charge once paid is not refundable at any circumstances.

Suspicious Orders and Use of Fraudulent Cards

As a prominent participant in Sri Lanka’s e-commerce sector, we have a zero-tolerance policy towards counterfeit orders or transactions involving stolen or fraudulent credit/debit cards. It is imperative that online shoppers fully comply with the legal guidelines outlined by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and adhere to the Terms and Conditions stipulated by gimmix.lk. In order to uphold these standards, customers are required to furnish accurate details and exclusively employ cards registered under their own name for transactions. Your adherence to these regulations contributes to the maintenance of a secure and trustworthy online shopping environment.

In the event of transactions raising suspicion or orders exceeding 100,000, payments will undergo verification by the payment gateway provider. This is to ensure the authenticity and genuineness of the purchase. As a result, we may ask customers for additional information, such as an ID proof or the last four digits of the credit/debit card used for the transaction. Your cooperation in providing these details will assist us in maintaining the security of the transaction process.

If an order is determined to be counterfeit or involves the use of stolen or fraudulent credit/debit cards, we will promptly cancel the order without prior notice to the customer. Additionally, we are committed to collaborating with the Sri Lanka Police and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka to initiate legal proceedings against such shoppers. In the event of any disputes or disagreements, we kindly urge the shopper to visit our office in person for resolution.

During the verification process, orders will remain on hold until the necessary verification is obtained from either the payment gateway provider or the service provider. Please note that no urgent pickups and express deliveries will not be entertained during this period.

In situations where a customer has selected the express delivery option and the order cannot be fulfilled promptly due to verification processes, we will ensure to refund the express delivery fee. This refund can be provided either at the time of delivery or through a bank transfer of the corresponding amount. We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to ensure the security and authenticity of each transaction.
